Week 5

So, this week I was sick on Thursday and Friday and didn't go to work, which is my excuse for writing this and posting it on Monday.

Actually, while I was sick on Thursday, I would have gone to work, but Reyna (pronounced Renee), caught me in the parking lot and told me that Amy, the graphic designer's computer had broken and was currently using mine. I opted to go home and take a nap.

As for what I did at work the days I was there, most of it was same old, same old. But I did do some data entry for the OETA site, which is not currently live. If you watch public broadcasting, you would know that pledge week is right around the corner, and so I put in over 100 entries on what you get and at what pledge level. Luckily, most of it was copypasta, but I had to take it from three different places, on only one monitor. My ALT+TAB muscles actually got cramps.

But a kinda cool thing happened from that. I noticed that at some ungodly pledge level, like $300, I could get 120 years of National Geographics on DVD-ROM. The market price, which was included, was only $68.95, or something like that. I told my parents, and we bought it! It's too bad by grandfather's dead, he would have loved it.

And, since this isn't quite 250 words, the splash page I did for Alan Gordon is up, and, as you know, a picture is worth a thousand words.
